“Current estimate is 2023.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final version of Exocide is planned to contain include 9 chapters with 2 missions each, complete with several bosses and secret levels. Exocide also plans to have Cutscenes with a retro aesthetic and also a full upgrade system for your equipment. Additional chapters are also intended for the end of early access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently Exocide enters early access with 4 chapters, containing 2 missions each. These missions include secret areas, bosses, and loot to find. Exocide in early access contains "Trench Mode" which is a hybrid between the traditional wave modes and tower defense.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Exocide will increase in price at the end of early access. Get involved early and save some of your hard earned bucks.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

About This Game

Exocide is a retro FPS with an early 00's aesthetic. Manage two powerful sets of weapon systems with extreme aggression to annihilate the swarm! Keep your maniacal robotic backpack excited using a powerful array of weaponry.

- Mix and match ammunition types and weapons for bonuses and rewards.

- Manage your power reserves to find a balance between quick mobility and absurd firepower.

- Go in for the kill with fast paced gory melee combat.


Years ago, several nations deployed giant combat-modified insects to aid in The Great War. This swarm of insects eventually turned in search of a food source to sustain their growing population. A decade of human genocide has wiped out most of the population. The remaining survivors have consolidated into a single fortified colony to fight extinction.


You are the last living member of the Handlers, a highly trained special forces group that was originally tasked with raising and fighting alongside these giant insects during The Great War.
